Hoedown at Shakertown: September 13 o A partnership with the Bowling Green Chamber Orchestra featuring musical performances under the stars. Farm Day: October 18, 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. CT o A day of live, interactive demonstrations featuring Shaker daily chores, activities and food. A Shaker Breakfast: November 1 & 8, 8:30 a.m. & 10:30 a.m. CT o Enjoy a Civil War-era breakfast taken straight from the Shaker Journal, including: fried chicken, asparagus, biscuits, sweet potatoes and dessert. Hosted at the 1869 Shaker Tavern Bed & Breakfast. Christmas at Shakertown: December 5 (Preview Party, 7-9 p.m. CT) and December 6 (Open House, 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. CT) o Enjoy the finest regional antiques and crafts vendors at the Centre House. Preview Party includes coffee and dessert bar, performances by the South Union Quartet, silent auction and early shopping opportunities. Open House includes silent auction and early shopping opportunities. Admission goes directly to benefit local needy families during the holiday season.
